The APC Has Postponed The Formation Of It’s Campaign Council

The All Progressives Congress has changed the date of the inauguration of its 422-member Presidential Campaign Council from Monday, September 26 to Wednesday, September 28.
Mr Bayo Onanuga, Director, Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Council, made the announcement on Sunday night in Abuja.
“The APC Presidential Campaign Council wishes to notify those members nominated to serve in the various directorates that they must report to the campaign headquarters on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 8 a.m.”
“Nominated members are likely to participate in special prayer sessions commemorating the start of the presidential election campaigns in 2023,” stated Onanuga.
He stated that a peace walk would take place immediately following the prayers, and that all nominees would get their letters of appointment on the same day.
He praised campaign council members, saying it was a call to serve the party with absolute dedication and sacrifice.
“We recognize that this is a summons to serve our great party, which will necessitate absolute devotion and sacrifice from all of us.”
“It is the council’s firm belief that all members will work tirelessly to ensure our great party’s resounding triumph in the 2023 presidential election.”
“We also want to take this opportunity to convey our heartfelt gratitude to all support groups that have registered with the campaign council.”
“We are aware that you have worked tirelessly to promote our candidates and the party throughout the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),” he remarked.
He stated that the APC and the candidates recognized their hard effort and significant money and human resources that were expended willingly.
Onanuga urged the support organizations to keep up the good job, adding that the PCC will engage with them as the campaign season progressed.
He urged those groups that have yet to formally register with the PCC to do so soon in order to ensure adequate harmonisation.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari will lead the council, according to a list of council members given previously by the party.
Senator Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate for 2023, and Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s National Chairman, will serve as the council’s deputy chairmen.
The Director-General is Plateau Governor Simon Lalong, while the Secretary to the Council is James Faleke.
Senator Kashim Shettima, the party’s Vice-Presidential candidate, serves as the council’s vice chairman, while Adams Oshiomhole, previous APC National Chairman, serves as the deputy Director-General (Operations), with Hadiza Usman serving as the Deputy Director-General (Administration). (NAN).
