New York-Lagos direct flights will be discontinued by Delta Air Lines on October 4.

As of October 4, 2022, New York-JFK and Lagos will no longer be served by Delta Air Lines.

The airline said on Tuesday that it would end its nonstop service due to the “current demand climate.”

However, Delta said that its flights from Lagos to Atlanta will provide connections to New York and other American destinations.

In order to accommodate the present demand situation, Delta is discontinuing nonstop service between New York-JFK and Lagos, according to the airline.

Customers who were impacted by the suspension of our New York-JFK to Lagos service will be rebooked on flights operated by Delta or by our joint venture partners. Delta continues to support the Nigerian market.
