Ms. Caroline Oghuma, Executive Head of Corporate Affairs at MultiChoice Nigeria, has been named one of the top 50 public relations and communication experts in Nigeria on the PR Power List 2022. The award was given in honor of Ms. Oghuma’s professionalism, which has made a substantial contribution to business and raised the status of the PR industry.
The PR Power List, a first of its kind, recognizes the best PR and communications experts in Nigeria. The list was created following a thorough evaluation process by GLG Communications in collaboration with The Guardian as part of events honoring World PR Day, which is observed annually on July 16.
Oghuma was included on the list of “Change Makers” in the field, which also included well-known experts, agency founders, middle-level leaders, and reputable innovators in the Nigerian PR sector. In response to the honor, Oghuma expressed her happiness at being acknowledged with industry legends for her contributions. I’m honored and overjoyed to have been included on this list of inspirational Nigerian PR and communications professionals. I’m still dedicated to doing my best work to improve how people view our wonderful profession, she said.
Oghuma joined MultiChoice in 2014 and has contributed significantly to establishing the company’s reputation. Her creative approach to brand communication boosted the company’s exposure and contributed to the upkeep of a strong brand image. She also started efforts for product engagement and education, which helped customers understand the brand better.
In addition, Oghuma has remained an active participant in the marketing communications sector. Because of her influence and effort, she has received accolades from the industry, including the 2019 BrandCom PR Manager of the Year award and the 2020 Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria Pay TV Most Effective Corporate Communications Professional award. She worked for MTN and Stanbic IBTC before beginning her career with MultiChoice.
